Bad attitude from staff.. Bell hop was ignorant to me when brought my bag to room.. I only asked where was my friends room.. I had already tipped him.. Shrugged and snapped something then walked away.. Glared at me when I asked again... Front desk made a whole deal about getting us our pool view rooms which we paid for.. In the end after waiting half an hour and being meat for the mosquitos told we would have to wait till 2pm to check in.. That was at 1.00pm..... The room I got had a tree and partial view of the road.. I did not pay for that.. Gym is good and breakfast I found was very good.. Buffet style which is always the best. It is far from anything except terminal 21 which is a 15 minute walk away.. That's about it.. The hotel is on a corner of 2 busy roads and the traffic noise is always there.. Pool is good but needs updating.. Tiles were missing everywhere.. In fact part of the pool is cordoned off because of the lack of tiles... My main issue is the fact I had 6 nights booked here... Second night my shower had only cold water.. And from there I had 3 days and nights like this while they kept trying to fix it.. 5th day the shower was scalding or freezing.. No in between.. 5th and 6th days and nights I showered in my friends room... The big guy on the front desk was one of the most uninterested people I've ever met working in a hotel.. Asked to have my shower fixed and waited at the pool 2 hours and asked was it fixed to which he replyed.. What room.. What number.. OK fixed... Then I went up in the lift with the repair crew... Couldn't make it up.. They spent 3 hours there and still had cold water..he never put his phone down which isn't a good view while talking to me at the front desk.. Not once did any person at the front desk ask me to change room,, not once... It could be a lot better for a quiet stay if not for the road noise and not with this staff.... It's cheap with breakfast which will attract some people but really it's just not worth the hassle and the distance from life here...

Best days seen times ago. Mantra pura would have all the opportunities to be rewarded as a hidden gem of pattaya, but. *Unfortunately lot od rooms are out of order, beds and stuff pulled out to hallways and balconies. *Horrible smell in elevator. *Most of the pool area is closed, because of missing tiles. *Yelling indian Kids running all over the pool, jumping in to it with all football clothes on. *Shower temperature weither hot or cold, no halfways. Showering is a Rush, when you need to adjust temperature all the f*** time. *wake up every morning in lovely singing sounds of busy road next to it. *Breakfast most thai, nothing special, terrible coffee machine. *Hard bed and pillows. *This is not 4 star hotel. Not meeting price even in low quality. Sad. Like said, it has all opportunities, but no.

If you like privacy and are suitable for relaxing, there are complete facilities that are not expensive, have very good service staff, are unique, and are not far from the sea. I would recommend "Mantra Pura Resort Pattaya," and you will not be disappointed.

This is a 2* hotel at best. The whole place is rundown. I have chipped tiles in the bathroom. Stains on the wall. The worst towels I’ve ever seen. The aircon does not work at all. It blows hot air. The breakfast is truly bad. I would not recommend this hotel at all. I’m staying in Pattaya another 5 days and have booked into another hotel.

The rooms were clean and well equipped, but during our visit there was no food or drinks available after the breakfast service was finished. With two ten year old boys this was a big inconvenience. The hotel is now showing its age and the photos were taken many years ago
